Last Patrol volunteers honored Bill, an Air Force veteran in hospice care @Restoration Senior Living. Bill is a Vietnam veteran. He trained as an electronics technician and was stationed in Saigon. He went on to live an honorable life and spoke often of his military service.
Sadly, Bill’s wife passed shortly before he himself was placed in hospice care. He misses her greatly. They didn’t have children, but he takes joy in a niece.
A team of our local volunteers rallied to honor Bill and recognize his service to our nation. We presented him several gifts of gratitude and a Congressional Letter. Veterans on their Last Patrol deserve our gratitude and respect.
