“Everyone he meets loves him.”

Life ends for everyone. When a veteran’s time has come, we hope he was appropriately remembered and thanked. No veteran should be left behind.

Last Patrol Volunteers in North Carolina recently honored James Wilkerson, an Army veteran in hospice care with @Hospice of the Carolinas Foothills.

James was born in 1939. He served in the Army from 1959-1960. He’s the father of 5 children. Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He made friends easily and was a happy man all his life. He loved cracking jokes and having a good time.

We salute you Sir, as you proceed on your Last Patrol.
